Luca Simeone

My personal trajectory crosses design management, interaction design and design anthropology. I have published reviews and articles on two main topics: organizational models behind constructive design research and future scenarios, strategies and technologies for publishing, especially within smart cities models. In 2009 I founded FakePress, a think tank exploring new publishing models and editorial projects and in 2011 I was a research affiliate with the SENSEable City Lab at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in Cambridge MA.As interaction designer and project manager I have developed more than 500 projects for Clients such as Nintendo, Playstation, United International Pictures, Dior, MTV, the Government of Singapore among others. I also work as consultant for public and private institutions (European Commission, German Federal Ministry of Education and Research) in order to help defining strategies, policies and funding schemes to support strategic design approaches targeted to innovation. As from 2011, I am PhD candidate at Malmö University in Sweden.
